Traditional saunas are designed to have hot air, usually by burning a substance, trapped inside its unit to create an unusually warm atmosphere where the person would quickly begin to sweat. Their bodies would be releasing much moisture out of their body which they thought to be “cleansing”. But as we now know, they were releasing salt from their bodies. As traditional wood burning to hot-rock stove steam saunas only heated the surface temperature greatly, the only sweat coming out of the users’ bodies would normally be a reaction to keep itself cool.

Our New state of the art Baked Carbon panel heaters comprise of multiple heat sensors that are calibrated to ensure continuous FIR heat at a lower surface temperature than other infrared sauna heaters.The design of our Baked Carbon panel heaters allows for better performance well within the "Vital Range" of 7 to 14 microns with a good portion at 9.4, which is the frequency at which a water molecule resonates or vibrates. This optimal micron output also allows for deeper penetration of far-infrared heat, which may improve body conditioning and well being.The design of our Healthstart Far Infrared Saunas will ensure you are covered from head to toe with soft FIR heat and uses less power than other FIR saunas.

	RoHS Certified The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
	TUV Certified An electrical product bearing the North American TUV Listed mark signifies that it was tested and meets the minimum requirements of prescribed product safety standards. The mark indicates that the manufacturer's production site conforms to a range of compliance measures and is subject to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.
	ETL AND ETL-C Safety Certified Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL) was founded in 1896 by Thomas Edison, and is one of the oldest product safety testing laboratories in the world. Certification by ETL and ETL-C assures you that all Signature models have been tested to meet both US and Canadian safety and performance standards.
	CE Certified The CE Mark is a requirement for products sold to the European Market. The CE Mark identifies a product as complying with the health and safety requirements spelled out in European legislation and is mandatory for equipment operating in the European Union (EU).
	C-Tick Certified Before a product covered by the EMC regulatory arrangements can be sold in Australia it must be tested to applicable standards and labeled. The label comprises a C-Tick mark and a unique supplier identification. The C-Tick mark is intended for use on products that comply with EMC standards.
