How long has Infrared Therapy been used?

The same type of heat has been used in hospitals for new born babies for over 30 years. Far Infrared is everywhere; it's essential for our well being and is easily absorbed into our bodies providing numerous health benefits.

What is sweat therapy all about?

Sweat is produced by glands in the deeper layer of the skin, the dermis. Sweat glands occur all over the body. Sweat is mainly water, but it also contains some salts. Its main function is to control body temperature. It does this by evaporating, which causes the surface of the skin to cool. When we apply infrared heat we sweat more, promoting health benefits.

I’ve seen other saunas advertised, what makes yours better for me?

Our saunas are made from the highest quality non-toxic Canadian Hemlock and Canadian Western Red Cedar and are built with solid tongue and groove construction. They are compact, easy to assemble, they take only a few minutes to heat, plugs into a standard household plug, stands off the floor on 4 legs and won't damage your flooring.

Our BAKED CARBON panels comprise of multiple heat sensors that are calibrated to ensure continuous FIR heat at a lower surface temperature than other infrared sauna heaters. The CarbonTech® heating technology is the most consistent form of FIR emission allowing for a better performance within the 7-14 micron range.

The design of our Healthstart Far Infrared Saunas will ensure you are covered from head to toe with soft FIR heat and uses less power than other FIR saunas.

Using the latest CarbonTech® heating panels we are able to produce the largest surface area coverage with the softest heat.

We also have a 8 year warranty (True lifetime warranty on Heater panels).

No special plumbing or wiring is required.

Should I drink water before or after a sauna session?

Yes you should do both, as well as drinking water during the far infrared sauna session.

Can a sauna help me relax?

Our sauna products provide a haven for relaxation. With your body relaxed, listen to soothing music, have a warm shower after and you will be guaranteed ZZZZZZZZZZ.

How does using your sauna cleanse the body?

Pollution is everywhere, and can affect our body. The body cleanses itself naturally by perspiring, but this is a slow process,By using our saunas, the infrared heat stimulates the sweat glands that cleanse the skin. The FIR heat technology simply speeds up the body’s natural healing process!

Are saunas expensive to run?

Our saunas are very efficient and a 30 minute session should average about 20 cents to operate

How often should I take a sauna?

Most people use the sauna everyday for about 15 – 45 minutes.

Do I need an Electrician?

An electrician is not required as our saunas simply plug into any household power-point, they are delivered to you in kit-form and all wiring is already in place.

What should be taken into consideration when purchasing an infrared sauna?

The room size, door position, location of power-point, changing, washing and relaxing facilities. We have a large range of sauna room types suitable for any room size.

Can anyone use it?

Infrared heat is natural and suitable for all the family. A healthcare professional should be consulted if you have specific health conditions, including pregnancy.

Is there any maintenance involved?

None much at all, just give the glass door a wipe down, and change the light globe when required. If a problem does occur we have qualified technicians available to speak with you.

Is it easy to assemble?

Yes, one of the easiest saunas to assemble. We provide you with an easy to read manual. Installation time is around 20 minutes for 2 people. Most of our saunas come delivered to you in kit form in 3 packs to make it easier to take with you if you ever decide to move house.

Are saunas noisy?

Our saunas are extremely quiet.

How can a sauna benefit me with my exercise routine, before and after work-outs?

Our saunas are definitely an investment in your fitness regime. Lactic acid, a by-product of muscle metabolism that causes soreness and stiffness after strenuous exercise is significantly reduced after a sauna therapy. And use of our sauna detox box before exercise can also benefit as it helps increase blood circulation and acts as a warm up before activity.
